Timbercity has proudly cemented its reputation as a wellknown company, recently celebrating an incredible milestone of 50 years in the timber and woodworking industry. From its humble beginnings, Timbercity’s journey has been one marked by innovation, reliability and a deep understanding of customer needs. Five decades later, Timbercity continues to stand as a symbol of expertise, precision and industry leadership.

What began in South Africa as a specialist timber and board retailer steadily expanded across Southern Africa, later proudly extended into Namibia, strengthening its regional footprint and bringing its expertise closer to Namibian contractors, cabinetmakers and DIY enthusiasts.

Today, Timbercity operates dedicated instore departments within six BUCO branches across Namibia, as well as one dedicated Timbercity branch in Windhoek. For 21 years, these Namibian stores have reflected Timbercity’s broader Southern African footprint, offering timber boards, joinery materials, cutting and edging services as well as hardware and building supplies.

The company has grown into one of Namibia’s most recognised specialist brands for timber and board solutions.

While customers trust us for leading names such as PG Bison (known for quality SupaWood and Melawood and Postform Tops) and the durable Ever-Last range, our offerings extend far beyond these lines. We also supply plywood, shutterply, and a wide selection of hardware and fittings from reputable brands.
